Chakra awakening meditation is an old tradition of finding inner peace and patience guided by proper technique, once used exclusively by priests and men of religious and spiritual service to attain spiritual enlightenment.
Nowadays, is has become popular and widespread for anyone to use the art in order to strengthen their mind-body connection.
A benefit of chakra awakening meditation is that it helps the body achieve balance and maintain a control over your body’s energy flow.
This meditation uses thought and reflection processes focusing on the seven chakras, stimulating them to release energy that will circulate the centers to ensure that they all receive enough power to function optimally.
If you are aware of which chakras you need to heal, you can concentrate of specific chakra meditations for each chakra. But is is essential to have all of your chakras balanced, so just focusing on one chakra all the time can lead to many problems. It is also important to work from the ground up when opening your chakras.
First find a comfortable, peaceful place where you can do your chakra meditations free from any distractions. Sit down in a comfortable position with your legs crossed or folded underneath you. Keep your back straight and rest your hands on your knees.
Start with the Root Chakra entrainment track. You may close your eyes, or have the root chakra symbol in front of you and focus on it while you perform the chant.
Now breath in from your abdomen deeply but gently for the count of 4 seconds until your lungs are completely filled up with oxygen.
Now on your out breath, chant LAM in tune with the chakra track for around 7 seconds.
Now repeat the process, breath in deeply from your abdomen for 4 seconds, now on your out breath chant LAM repetitively like this, LAM, LAM, LAM, LAM.
Now repeat this cycle for around 7 times for each chakra, chanting the appropriate chakra sound for each chakra in tune with the chakra tuning brainwave entrainment track provided.
You may either perform this exercise in 1 day, or you can extend it by focusing on one chakra per day for 7 days. You can repeat the chanting cycle for the full 30 minute chakra tuning brainwave entrainment session instead of just doing it for 7 cycles.
Root Chakra – Represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded.
